Mobility in Spain - Visit to Cáceres

Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986, the old quarter of the city of Cáceres was visited by our project participants. It is one of the most complete and best preserved urban complexes in Europe, made up of buildings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Its space is divided into two large areas by the wall. We visited the most representative buildings of the city such as the Co-cathedral of Santa María, the Palacio de las Veletas, the palaces of the Golfines, the Casa del Sol and the Torre del Bujaco.

Here are some photos of the activity.

We hope you like them!

Good Cybersecurity Practices - Spanish Team

During the months of November and December our students have been working on good cybersecurity practices related to hyperconnectivity and netiquette. We have worked on the following objectives:

✔ Knowing the advantages and disadvantages of a hyper-connected world.

✔ Agree on rules for the correct use of technological resources.

✔ Encourage responsible digital behaviour.

✔ Encourage the correct use of communication on the Internet.

✔ To differentiate between netiquette and non-netiquette.

✔ Learn how to use emoticons correctly to express emotions and feelings in digital environments.

✔ Identify a "hater" and know how to defend yourself against them.

To work on the issue of hyperconnectivity, we carried out the following tasks:

1. We read a document on hyperconnectivity.

2. We thought about the advantages and disadvantages of living hyper-connected.

3. We designed rules for the responsible use of technologies and made a collaborative video with them.

To work on the issue of netiquette, we carried out two activities. In the first one:

1. We read a document and watched some videos on netiquette.

2. We identified the feelings and emotions conveyed by the emojis.

3. We write text messages in this worksheet respecting the rules of netiquette and using emoticons.

Our final product was a video of our students' work.

In the second Netiquette activity we develop it through the following activities:

1. Watching the video "The champions netiqueta".

2. We carry out the interactive activities contained in this digital resource:

✔ Correctly relate messages to their respective emoticons.

✔ Classify sentences according to whether they are netiquette or non-netiquette.

✔ Discover the meaning of the word "Hater".

✔ Discover how to take the power away from a Hater.

✔ Make a puzzle with tips on how to deal with Haters.

Visit our photo album.

The 2nd A students with their teacher Lourdes López have been working on the topic of hyperconnectivity. Here are some photos of them working on their final products.
