Dissemination of our project at the "Educar sin fronteras" Day

More than 400 teachers met in Mérida for the conference "Educate without borders" to analyse the internationalisation of educational centres.

Our school collaborated with a stand that gave visibility to the tangible results of our Erasmus+ project "YEAH! You(th) Enjoy To Be Active and Healthy".

The Mayor of Mérida, Mr. Antonio Rodríguez Osuna, stressed that "from the City Council of Mérida we are proud of the work of our schools, this international character of education has allowed us to work on several projects with them side by side, schools that have collaborated with Eramus projects". We invite you to follow the press release in this link.

The Club of the Brave with Teacher María José

Hello everybody! We are the children of five year´s group. Last week we have been working about the story "The club of the braves". After listening to the story, we talked about the importance to solve the conflicts peacefully, and the children showed different ways to do it to their partners. At the end of the activity we made our own "brave badge" and wrote our motto: "Be brave, be peaceful". We had a good time!!

SESIÓN 12: PLATAFORMAS ERASMUS+ Y OTRAS INICIATIVAS DE APOYO AL PROGRAMA

The most important are: eTwinning, School Education Gateway, Selfie, Learning corner, Erasmus+ results platform...

eTwinning It is an ideal tool to make the local activities and to virtualize some of the meetings.

School Education Gateway: It offers news, articles by education experts, seminars and online courses, participation in surveys, provides quality teaching materials, mobility opportunities in KA1 projects...

Selfie: Platform for evaluating the use we are making of digital media at the centre. It is a free resource.

Learning Zone: Ofrece actividades secuenciadas por edades sobre la Unión Europea.

Erasmus+ Results Platform

Erasmusintern: It aims to put university students in touch with each other.

SESSION 7: BUDGET ITEMS. MANAGEMENT AND JUSTIFICATION

Important items for our project are:
  • Management and execution of the Project: To support the realization of the project. It is very important that these expenses are made during the period of execution of the project. The management item cannot be increased but these funds can be used in other budget items. Management costs are: Attendance to training days, mobility costs derived from internal activities (hosting of partners), insurance coverage for participants (clause 1.7), activities aimed at promoting sustainability, graphic or printed material, posters, consumables, good practice manuals, website, meetings, conferences...
  • Learning, teaching and training activities: Item intended for the mobility of students and/or teachers. This item can be increased by the item Management and execution of the project. If we have money left over on the basis of real costs, we can use it on the basis of any expenditure of the project. If because of the Covid-19 it is not possible to carry out a mobility, up to 10% of this item can be transferred to "Exceptional costs" to be able to carry it out as a virtual mobility. The aid paid per participant is 15% of the individual aid granted for mobility.
    • Travel: Travel assistance.
    • Individual support: Accommodation and meals

SESSION 8: THE LIFE OF THE PROJECT THROUGH THE MOBILITY TOOL+

The Mobility Tool+ cannot be accessed until the agreement is signed by both parties (school headmaster and SEPIE). Link to access the tool.

Mobility Tool+ Guide for KA229: The guide can be found in the section Documentation - School Exchange Associations KA229.

With the Covid-19 situation we can propose to carry out virtual mobilities documenting the whole process. These mobilities should not be included in the Mobility tool+ for the time being. If the situation changes this year or next year, we could start planning the face-to-face mobilities, which are the ones we should plan in the Mobility tool+. In the worst case scenario, if the situation does not improve and we are still unable to travel, we will already have the mobilities done and they will be the ones we declare in the Mobility tool.

Activities affected by Covid-19: Update on health measures and FAQs on the impact of the pandemic.

Free image in Pixabay.

Welcome to our blog YEAH! You(th) Enjoy to be Active and Healthy! It has been developed for our Erasmus KA229 project. With its implementation we will achieve a change in habits of students and teachers toward their wellbeing and healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.

It will be developed for the following partners:
  • Ann Arleth - Denmark.
  • Elisa Bertocchi - Italy (teacher coordinator).
  • Giedre Mazeikiene - Lithuania.
  • Juan Antonio Rincón Carballo - Spain.
  • Marjeta Rastresen - Slovenia.
The five schools have experience in different areas of health and well-being and will coordinate activities within those areas:
  • Italy: Healthy food in contrast with junk food, scholastic garden.
  • Denmark: Positive face-to-face relationships in contrast to relations "behind the screen", prevention of bullying.
  • Slovenia: Practicing sports in contrast to obesity.
  • Lithuania: Environmental awareness, sustainability and recycling in contrast to climate changes.
  • Spain: Healthy use of mobile devices, prevention of cyberbullying.
